A MUSICAL BOAT RIDE ON GANGES IN VARANASI

Your journey starts with the hotel pick up where you will meet our driver and tour guide at your hotel at 5 am or depending on the time suitable to you. You will be driven towards the Dashashwamedh Ghat which is one of the most famous and accessible ghat of Varanasi. After leaving your car in the parking you will lead towards the Ghat where your pre arranged boat will be waiting with the saluting boatman clad in traditional. As you ascend the boat you will be given a warm welcome by the team on the welcome note of sitar, thump of Tabla and with the sweet voice of flute. The performers of sitar, tabla and flute are the selected from the gharana family. Live music on boats enriches the experience of Subah-e-Banaras.

Our tour guide will narrate to you the stories of different Ghats and the temples. He will also brief you about the Hindu rituals, 16 sacraments and typical Indian culture. You can capture the best pictures of gleaming sun and its rays falling on the holy water of the Ganges and see though your own eyes how a historical city of India wake up with live activities in the morning and get to see thousands of devotees having a dip in the holy water and praying the river with offering of flowers, milk and incense. The river is considered as a physical embodiment of the goddess. The adventure ends with a short walking tour in the narrow alleys of the old city and visiting the Golden temple. Later our driver will leave you to your hotel.
