expand_more Day 01: ARRIVAL IN VARANASIUpon arrival at Varanasi airport or railway station, our representative will meet and transfer to your hotel. Later you will be taken for an excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples. The attractions at Sarnath are the Buddha temples, the Dhamekha stupa , Chaukhandi stup, ruins of Monastries including Mulagandha Kuti, remains of Ashokan Pillar, 80 Feet tall Buddha Idol and the archaeological museum.
Later you will be driven to Mirzapur which is a drive of one and half hours. On arrival at Mirzapur, check in at the hotel.Stay Overnight at hotel in Mirzapur.

expand_more Day 02: MIRZAPUR - CHUNAR (around 6 hrs boat trip)After having your breakfast in the hotel you will start sailing down the river and watching the ripples and the appearance of occasional splash when a river Dolphin makes a brief appearance is mind blowing. Sailing downstream we reach Chunar Fort standings on the bank of the holy river Ganges.To witness a stunning architectural grandeur of a bygone era. Comfortably standing on a small hillock on the banks of the River Ganges, the Chunar Fort dates back to 56 BC. The major attraction is Samadhi of Bharthari, sonwa Mandap which was built by king of Nepal, Chandrakanta Twist, hanging place (it was actually a capital punishment place). Bunglow of Warren Hastings, underground tunnels & prisons and well of love constructed by King Vikram Aditya for his beloved wife who uses this well for ablutions, the well has secret dungeons and changing rooms. After fort, a visit to the villagers who made glazed red clay pottery and crafts.Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Chunar.

expand_more Day 03: CHUNAR - VARANASI (around 6 hrs boat trip)In the morning we continue to sail towards Varanasi. Enroute exploring the village and temples. We will stop to visit Sheetla Temple, Adalpura, Ramnagar Fort, and Museum. Once you enter into the urban area of the Varanasi, you can watch various ghats including Manikarnika Ghat popularly known as the burning ghat or a cremation ghat. Later, you can experience the flamboyant evening Aarti held at the Dashashwamedh Ghat. After experience the magnificent Aarti, disembark from the boat and from here you will be transferred to your hotel in Varanasi. Overnight Stay at the hotel.

expand_more Day 04: VARANASI DEPARTUREEarly morning, you will be taken for a boat ride on the Ganges. Enjoy Subah-e-Banaras in Varanasi. It is a mystical and spiritual experience as you watch people taking holy dip in the Ganges, performing rituals, offering water to the Sun etc, it all happens in Subah-e-Banaras. You will visit all the famous Ghats of Varanasi via boat. After the Boat Ride and will have the walking tour in old part of the city and visit the most religious Kashi Vishwanath temple, Annapurna Temple. Later you will return back to the hotel for breakfast. Post breakfast visit Varanasi Silk Market in the heart of the city which is actually famous for Banarasi Weaving style.
Later drop to airport/Railway station with pleasant memory of adventurous trip.

POINTS TO BE NOTED:
- The boats used are common Indian wooden motor boat with rowing option. There are comfortable seating arrangements with a canopy on the top. A small kitchen Boat will be attached with the main boat for our kitchen crew.
- There will be tented accommodation for overnight stay but you can also choose hotels for overnight stay in case you don’t feel comfortable at the tented accommodation.
- Breakfast & dinner is served on the campsite / hotels but lunch & evening tea with cookies is always on board. During sailing we provide freshly cooked hot meals prepared by our trained kitchen staff.
- For toilet during the sail we stop at deserted bank and one has to depend on the Indian village style and at the campsite we have camps consists of pit toilets.
- Best period is from Nov to 15th Dec. & from 15th Jan to 15th Mar. (mostly there is a thick fog during end Dec & beginning Jan in North India, affecting the navigation on the river & pictorial views).
